Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic but rewarding environment on permanent basis. You will be an intricate part of a close-knit team and you will provide support on a wide range of financial and reporting tasks whilst working alongside the Finance Manager daily.
Responsibilities for the position include:

• Production of management accounts
• KPI reporting
• Production of annual financial statements
• VAT compliance and reporting
• Production of monthly P/L
• Managing bank transactions and reports
• Ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager

The essential skills and qualifications needed for this position are:

• Working towards a professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent IT skills, particularly around Excel including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
