Application Support Analyst- 9-12 month Fixed Term Contract – £28K-£34K + Benefits – Birmingham – Commutable from Solihull, Lichfield, Sutton, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Telford.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within IT Application Management to join the Technical Application Support team.

This role will be providing 2nd line support for all Business Critical Application systems, ensuring that incidents and problems are resolved with minimal impact to the business. Ensuring that all the business applications are compliant and monitored efficiently for those responsible by the team.

The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for supporting a range of complex business systems and will ideally have experience in SQL query writing skills, with the ability to write moderately complex queries to retrieve or update data. You will have experience providing 2nd line support for business critical application systems and have exposure to installing, troubleshooting and supporting a wide range of applications and knowledge of Windows and MS SQL.
