Acoustics and Vibrations EngineerBirmingham or LondonPermanentOne of our main clients has an urgent requirement for an Acoustics and Vibrations Engineer to be based at their offices in Birmingham or London on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large engineering enterprise and one of the most challenging projects in recent UK history.As Acoustics and Vibrations Engineer you will be responsible for delivery specialist support to the team to fulfil the environmental minimum requirements. You will role will develop, monitor and verify that appropriate acoustic and vibration performance across the project ensuring that each part of the organisation is coordinated to deliver its contribution accordingly.You will implement you aco8ustics knowledge of expertise to develop requirements, specifications, standards and complete technical documentation for the design, development and testing of the following disciplines including, but not limited to: environment, civil engineering (i.e. viaduct, tunnel, road, soil dynamics), stations, buildings, railway systems (i.e. Track System, M&E System, Power Systems, Depots and Rolling Stock) and operation and maintenance. My client would be keen to speak to candidates with the following expertise:You will have strong acoustics experience within the Rail industryYou will have strong knowledge of acoustical engineering technology, building acoustics and infrastructure designYou will have UK CDM regulations knowledgeYou will have worked on the application of Common Safety Method (CSM) for risk evaluation and assessment.Ideally, you will be a Chartered Engineer or working towards ChartershipYou will have experience managing noise between the different parts (sub-systems) of a railwayExperience in managing standards, engineering and safety activity on any engineering projects/ programmes My client is offered a competitive salary with an exceptional benefits package, apply now to explore this opportunity.
