Currently recruiting for a 1st Line Support Engineer position, for a Software organisation based in Central Birmingham. My client serves a broad range of customers around the world – from mid-sized businesses to global enterprises, as well as government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organisations.
As a 1st Line Software Support Engineer, you will be managing inbound calls from existing clients as well as being responsible for regular contact with an existing client pool from a customer service perspective.
You will be our clients first port of call for basic (1st line) technical queries and responsible for delivering a solution for any issue in the most efficient, enthusiastic and helpful way you can. Typical issues can range from password reset to online demonstration of areas within the software platform.
There will be an element of Account Management and understanding your client’s challenges to help develop the client relationship and ultimately retain and protect recurring revenue, capitalising on any additional opportunity within the account.
