IFA ADMINISTRATOR / TRAINEE PARAPLANNER
£27,000 – £35,000, Solihull
Our client is a boutique, highly established Independent Financial Planning firm, providing a highly personal and professional service to a loyal client bank of high-net-worth individuals.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IFA Administrator who is looking to develop their career and move into paraplanning.
Working within a close-knit and supportive team, you will initially provide high-quality administrative and client servicing support to 1-2 Financial Advisers, whilst receiving direct development and training towards a Trainee Paraplanner position.
The firm is committed to investing in its people and will provide full support towards relevant professional examinations and qualifications, giving the successful candidate a clear and structured career path into paraplanning.

As an IFA Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner, your responsibilities will include:
Career Development
This role offers a genuine and clearly defined progression route from IFA Administrator into Paraplanning.
The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and development, working closely with experienced Financial Advisers and gaining exposure to the full financial planning process.
The firm will also provide support and encouragement towards professional examinations, helping you to build the technical knowledge and qualifications required to develop a successful career as a Paraplanner.
This makes the opportunity particularly well suited to an IFA Administrator who is ambitious, keen to learn and wants to move beyond administration into a more technical financial planning role.
About You
You will need to have experience of working within an IFA / Financial Planning environment, together with good knowledge of Pensions and Investments.
Experience of working with provider platforms and back-office systems is essential, with knowledge of Intelligent Office being advantageous.
You will be organised, technically minded and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a busy financial planning environment. The ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail is essential.
Excellent communication skills are also required, together with the ability to build strong and professional relationships with Advisers, high-net-worth clients and product providers.
Most importantly, you will have a genuine desire to progress your career into paraplanning and be keen to undertake further study and professional examinations with the support of the firm.
