We’re looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join a forward-thinking and supportive financial planning firm. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality advice support to high-net-worth clients while working within a collaborative and client-focused environment.

This role offers hybrid working, with a flexible arrangement between home and office-based working, typically including around two days per week from home, although this can be tailored for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and maintaining detailed client files and annual review documentation
• Building and analysing cashflow models to support financial planning strategies
• Drafting clear, accurate, and compliant suitability reports and financial recommendations
• Conducting both independent and collaborative research to identify suitable financial planning solutions
• Assisting advisers with comparing and analysing products, investments, and planning strategies
• Liaising with clients and third-party professionals, including solicitors and accountants, where required
• Overseeing the implementation of advice and ensuring compliance requirements are met throughout the process
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues

What We’re Looking For

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of the financial planning process
• Technical knowledge across pensions, investments, inheritance tax planning, protection, and tax planning
• Excellent written communication skills, particularly in suitability report writing
• Awareness of market trends, regulatory developments, and product changes

Experience

• Previous experience in a Paraplanning role
• Experience with cashflow modelling software would be advantageous but is not essential

Qualifications

• Diploma in Financial Planning (or an equivalent Level 4 qualification)
• Willingness to undertake standard background screening, including DBS and credit checks
